Piquet

It is a kind of hanging knitted fabric in a special structure similar to a honey platina formed by the stitches and the needle movements, especially the single plate knitting machines. The piquet is a widely used fabric in the frequent looped T-shirt and sports top-wear produced mainly from mercerized cotton or polyester / cotton blended yarn. These types of looped fabrics, known from tennis shirts, are also known as single-pin dots in the market. The elasticity of the fabric can be imparted to the fabric by elastane threads connected to the machine during knitting.
