Rib

Rib circular knitted fabrics are double-layered fabric types obtained by placing the cylinder and cap needles in a crosswise manner in relation to each other in double-plate circular knitting machines. The greatest feature of ribbing fabrics is that the straight (R) and inverted (L) loops appear alternately on both sides of the web when the fabric is opened in the width direction. The structure of the fabric is made up of straight and inverted loops that come one after the other.
